Former high school teacher turned Collegiate Esports Director and much more. I picked up photography as a necessity for my program and found a dormant passion that has led me to travel and document unique moments that make life worth living. Whether it be esports events, campus life, documenting the livelihood of the town, or exploring the world, I always have my camera on me to capture these moments. The greatest joy in my life is seeing someone smile at a picture I took!
From necessity to passion
Photography started out from me just picking up a camera to document some tournaments the IWU esports team was playing and has quickly become the dominant thought in my mind. I am always looking around for something new to document and see the world through a cinematic lens. I find the most joy from capturing the pure and unscripted emotions of people and seeing them smile in wonderment at seeing themselves in a new light.
Beyond portraits, I am always thinking up new things to document in my daily life and take my camera with me everywhere I go to not miss a single thing.
